Blessings Missed Trailer from Ken Lawrence on Vimeo.
Family Gravity Media is working on a documentary about fertility stewardship. To introduce the documentary we produced a short film. The video above is the trailer for the short film.
The upcoming documentary of “Blessings Missed” explores the alarming change in the country’s attitude about children. Children have become the only blessing from God we try to delay. For the past several decades young couples, Christian and non-Christian alike, have been boxing up their fertility in pursuit of what they consider higher priorities. They are delaying having children until a “better time.” They wait until they get their degree, get established in their career, get to know one another better, and do the things they think they won’t be able to do once they have children.
As a result couples don’t start trying to have children until they are in their late 20s or early 30s. What they are discovering is that by that time their fertility isn’t what it once was. The rates of infertility and needing medical intervention to conceive have skyrocketed in the late 1900s and early 2000s.
Blessings Missed the documentary will investigate this trend, the problems it is producing and possible solutions.
